Ferguson Fire Department: After receiving overwhelming support for the construction of a new fire station from the citizens of Ferguson, construction has started on the project. The anticipated completion date is scheduled for November of 2012. The new station will almost triple the size of the current station 1 that was built in the early 1950’s. The new station will have improved training facilities, more storage space and will be better located to serve the community. The new building will be energy efficient and will be an asset to the downtown area of Ferguson.
